“For over 40 years, I have represented individuals seriously injured in motor vehicle accidents, combining trusted legal counsel, extensive trial experience, and dedicated personal service.”
— Randy Musbach
About
I represent people who are seriously injured in truck, auto, pedestrian, motorcycle, or bike accidents and families with wrongful death claims. Many of my cases involve a semi-truck, box delivery truck, or other commercial vehicle. I had my first trucking case as a young lawyer in 1985 against a large national trucking company involving a wrongful death. I intentionally have a small law office, and I limit the number of cases I have at any one time to provide the best possible legal representation for my clients. My practice is built upon the referrals of past clients, members of the community, and other lawyers familiar with my legal experience and commitment to my clients.

Case Results
I have handled hundreds of litigation matters during my career, including jury verdicts, judicial decisions, settlements, and other resolutions. Each case is different, and the outcome depends on various factors, such as insurance coverage. Here are just a few examples:
-
A Michigan resident was killed when a semi truck ran a red light and crashed into his vehicle in the intersection. The trucking company was based in Ohio, so a wrongful death case was filed in federal district court in Ohio. A confidential settlement was reached after a mediation with the assigned magistrate judge.
-
A motorist was injured in a construction zone crash involving a semi-truck. He suffered a mild traumatic brain injury and serious orthopedic injuries, which resulted in a $2,500,000.00 case evaluation award. The case was eventually settled for a confidential amount and was one of the largest settlements in Michigan that year.
-
Over $1,000,000.00 for a driver injured by a semi-truck on the Ohio Turnpike. Traumatic Brain Injury & Large National Trucking Company A middle-aged man suffered a traumatic brain injury by a negligent truck driver for a well-known national trucking company. A significant confidential settlement was reached shortly before trial.
-
A pedestrian suffered multiple serious injuries when she was hit in a crosswalk by an inattentive driver operating a company-owned vehicle. This confidential settlement was one of Michigan's largest recoveries that year for a motor vehicle crash.
-
A 27-year-old passenger was ejected from a company-owned van traveling on an icy highway in Wisconsin. He suffered a traumatic brain injury and a badly fractured pelvis. Over $1,000,000.00 was obtained for the passenger’s economic and non-economic losses.
-
A 35-year-old driver was injured in a rural Michigan county by a corporate executive running a red light. He suffered a mild traumatic brain injury and numerous fractures. After several facilitation hearings, the case settled for $1,000,000.00.
-
A jury verdict for an injured delivery truck driver against a large national retailer in excess of $1,000,000.00.
-
A $2,000,000.00 settlement resulted in a products liability case against a foreign manufacturer, a $1,000,000.00 settlement resulted in a construction site injury, and a $1,000.000.00 wrongful death settlement resulted in a fire case.
